Field experiments (WP2) This
WP deals with agronomy issues to improve baking quality, nutritional
value and mitigate mycotoxin contamination. It involves field
experiments on soil tillage and nitrogen management (fertilization,
intercropping with legumes and green manuring). Wheat grain yield and
grain protein content are determined in field experiments. The impact
of the different treatments on weeds and disease pressure at flowering
and at wheat maturity is also evaluated during the crop cycle. Soil
fertility is particularly evaluated in WP2.1. Further analyses on
protein composition and others quality indicators are determined (WP3
and 4) to express baking quality and nutritional value. |
